Why knot? The boating clubs of our county are a very big part of our cus-tomer base clubs like the East Coast Sailing Association, Eau Gallie Yacht Club and the Melbourne Yacht Club to name a few. After a couple of years of getting to know various members of these clubs, people from all walks of life, I've seen one thing that most all of you share, not the love of boating but the biggest thing is the passion you folks have for each other, the respect and the camaraderie like the hands that always go up for a wave as two boats pass on the water most times a complete stranger or the two opposite club members that stand in our boat yard and chat about their boat's and their good times or even some of their bad times, like an old war story of a boat trip gone bad, just for a laugh. This is the positive impact that clubs have on our ma-rine community as a whole. So getting back to the why knot ( lol ) if you are a novice or even an old salt check out some of the local boating clubs there is one to fit most any person's taste.
